Pointers to Your Other Pages

There are two ways to reference internal documents (documents on your server).

The full URL of the page.
The document name only (or path and name) without any URL preface information.

For example, if you have your resume as a html document in your public_html directory, you can make a link to it from your homepage with the line:

     Your welcome to <A HREF="resume.html">read my resumé</A>.

which your browser will display as:

Your welcome to read my resumé.

You can create subdirectories under your public_html directory and refer to files inside them similarly.

Example:

     I created a html page for <A HREF="../r03/R03.html">recitation 3</A>.

which your browser will display as:

I created a html page for recitation 3.
